Medicines Use Advise
This appointment with the pharmacist is to focus on how you are getting on with your medicines. It is an NHS service
hence you do not need to pay for it.
This service is to:
- Help you to find out more about the medicines you are taking
- Pick up any problems you are having with your medicines
- Improve the effectiveness of your medicines
- Making sure that your medicines are right for you prevents unnecessary waste
The pharmacist may have questions to ask you, and may suggest some changes to your medicines. You may have concerns or questions that you want to ask. You can ask anything about your medicines.
Smoking Cessation
It is well documented that smoking is a major risk factor in many chronic and life threatening diseases today including lung disease, cardiovascular disease, strokes, infertility and various cancers.
At Christchurch Health Centre we realise that giving up smoking is not an easy task, however the benefits to general health and wellbeing are significant. We run a smoking cessation clinic which offers 'one to one' support tailored to your individual profile to help you become a life long quitter.
Collection and Delivery Service
We deliver prescriptions to housebound and over 70 year old customers. We also collect and deliver prescriptions to all Doctors Surgeries in Braintree town centre.
